The Calcutta Conquest is one of the more powerful and outstanding round-shaped, mid-sized multipliers in the Calcutta stable. Built around a solid forged Duralumin frame and a corrosion resistant finish, it is drilled for lightness to achieve that ultra cool look.

The 300/400 are bigger versions that are ideal for targeting bigger, stronger species of saltwater fish that are not as common in freshwater. SUPERSHIP technology, a level wind that ensures proper line lay, together with a wider larger spool ensures super smooth casting performance. The use of carbon drag washers makes for excellent drag modulation.
Equipped with up to 11A-RB (shimano Anti-Rust Bearings) that are 10 times more corrosion resistant than ordinary bearings and a 45mm long handle for powerful cranking, this is one versatile and powerful reel.

Shimano has taken the next step in cast control technology. Introducing the revolutionary Digital Control system. This is the first self-energizing Digital Braking "smart" baitcasting feature. It features 8 different pre-programmed braking patterns based on lure and casting type. With this technology, each of the 8 pre-programmed braking patterns provide awesome control of the feeding of the line by applying the ideal amount of braking force at
critical intervals. As a result, it is possible to achieve long, accurate casts with consistent backlash control. The application of the "smart" braking by the Digital Control System quickly stabilizes the spool rotation. Digital Control varies the amount of braking force depending on line tension, minimizing the
chance of the dreaded backlash.

The increased RPM's provided by the Digital Control System ensure longer casts. At the same time, the pre-programmed braking patterns allow for not only easy, external adjustment for any situation, but also an extremely manageable cast with less backlash. Overall, the Digital Control Braking System means further casts, less effort, less backlash, and easy, quick
adjustment.

Enhanced Low Profile Design of this reel sitting lower than the conventional Conquest DC. This new setting position on the rod resulted in a more comfortable grip for the angler.

Improved Line Capacity of this reel to be same as Conquest DC 250 but size remains the same.

Enhance Setting – Additional line setting compliments the existing pre set casting mode for optimum performance. Additional 3 setting are available: N for use of nylon line, F for use of Fluorocarbon line & SP for use of Fluorocarbon line of 20lb or higher. Each setting has a automatic preset electronic brake to reduce backlash.
